“Some of us are just destined to be poor.” That is Orire. No job. Almost ten months of unpaid rent. Rejection after rejection.
And a bank account that has seen better days. But Orire has another problem that money alone cannot solve: He has become so accustomed to disappointment that he expects failure before he even tries.
Then he meets Precious — a woman who refuses to see life the way he does.
ZERO BALANCE is a story about money, unemployment, friendship, love, faith, self-worth and finding the courage to believe that your current situation does not have to become your final destination.
